Your Life


Let's summarise:

  • A World Government or New World Order (NWO) is rapidly emerging. It is taking increasing control of your life through such things as visas, identity cards, new laws, computer databases, media manipulation and surveillance. Elements of this NWO are the American Union, the European Union and the Asian Union - you are probably in one of these.
  • Financial transactions are almost exclusively electronic, giving government massive control.
  • The world is obesessed with security because of increasing lawlessness. Global terrorism statistics speak for themselves.
  • Western morality and ethics are in sharp decline, resulting in increasing marriage breakdown, abortion, promiscuity, suffering children, benefit fraud, and identity fraud.
  • A worldwide apostate church is being formed, which is moving its allegiance from the Bible to World Government, from the message of the Gospels to multifaith.
  • The Middle East is always in the headlines largely because most Middle East states hate Israel. Further war seems inevitable.
  • Whilst they debate who or what is responsible, you are faced with extreme weather events: temperatures increased 0.8 degrees C last century, glaciers and ice caps are melting, the gulf stream is changing, drought and severe storms are increasing, water tables are falling, pacific islands are being flooded. The climate statistics speak for themselves.

The significant point is that all these themes (and some detail) are predicted in the Bible. The Bible says that these will be the problem areas in the last years of this age. It's worth a read!

If you have studied some of the big issues facing the world, you have several options:

  • You can ignore them and get on with your own life. Most people do.
  • You can dismiss them as right-wing Christian fundamentalism.
  • You can investigate them further by looking into the Bible, and correlating its statements with what is happening in the world. In fact, it is essential that you take the Bible seriously.

First The Bad News

World events are moving rapidly to a climax and the end of the age. For example, observe how quickly the EU, electronic (cashless) trading, terrorism (lawlessness), the growth of Israel and climate change have all come to prominence. All this has happened within some 50 years! These and other prophecies are being fulfilled before our eyes! At the very end of this age i.e. soon, the Bible says Jesus Christ will return to earth in order to:

  • Gather believers in Christ and take them out of the world prior to God's judgements upon the world. For a detailed analysis see The Last Years of this Age.
  • Execute judgements upon the world - read Revelation 15-18.
  • Destroy the corrupt, godless World Government and the world's armies gathered around Jerusalem.
  • Usher in peace and justice, and rule the nations from Jerusalem for 1,000 years - see The Millennial Reign of Christ.

If you do not believe i.e. you consciously reject Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour, then you will not be gathered together with other believers. You will be left to suffer God's judgements upon a godless, and morally bankrupt world. In all probability you will die without ever knowing real life and a real relationship with the Creator God. And you will then face the final judgement:

"He who believes in Him (Christ) is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already" (John 3.18)

Your name will not be written into God's 'book of life':

"If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire" (Rev 20.15)

Harsh - yes. But a moral and just God must also judge all acts of immorality, injustice and rebellion against Him. The world has forgotten the Ten Commandments!

Now The Good News

Jesus came into the world so that each of us can get right with a just and moral God:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3.16)

There are no strings. He died on a Roman cross to show His love for each one of us. And His resurrection is one of the best attested facts in history. Jesus lives - see how He heals people today! We simply have to ask His forgiveness for the past and ask Him to come and change our life. And He will - hundreds of millions of Christians can testify to this. Moreover, you will receive the 'Spirit of Truth' to guide you into all truth (John 14.16,17). You will then start to understand world events. And you need not fear what is happening to the world - your name will be written in God's book of life.
